*TITLE: *Activities Coordinator (Full-Time, Seasonal) *REPORTS TO: *Director of Programming *RATE OF PAY: *$17-18 per hour _Boys & Girls Club of Missoula County provides equal employment opportunity for all applicants and employees.
_ *OVERVIEW: * The Boys & Girls Club of Missoula County (BGCM) offers a 10-week, all-day, Summer Club Program (SCP) to youth who’ve completed kindergarten through high school in Missoula County.
The SCP is broken into five age groups.
SCP focuses on academic enrichment to protect against summer learning loss, physical recreation/healthy lifestyles, and community participation and integration.
Every day, our youth participate in structured programs and take field trips into the community or the outdoors, to explore and experience diverse opportunities, multiple times during the week.
BGCM is seeking an Activities Coordinator to execute all aspects of our field trip programs, vehicle maintenance, and supplies and materials coordination for programming.
*PRIMARY FUNCTION: * The Activities Coordinator is an integral member of the SCP staff team.
They will be responsible for supporting the Director of Programming and Site Managers with *planning summer activities logistics and supervision*.
This will include ensuring daily field trips function effectively, are organized clearly and safely, and that the staff and Club members enjoy and receive positive impacts from the activities.
The Activities Coordinator will also be responsible, in tandem with the Operations Coordinator for the *upkeep of the Club’s 15-passenger van fleet*, including ensuring all have proper fuel, have mechanical upkeep, and are cleaned regularly; working with the Director of Programming when necessary.
The Activities Coordinator may transport Club Members in the Club’s 15-passenger vans to field trips.
Finally, the Activities Coordinator will *liaise with the MAPs *community partners and *attend each overnight camping trip*.

*KEY ROLES (Essential Job Responsibilities): * *Summer Activities Logistics: * * Oversee all aspects of the SCP activities, including coordinating the logistics, supervising the Club members and staff, and liaising with community partners; this work requires the Coordinator to communicate and plan with the Club staff and community partners.
* Establish and monitor all policies, procedures, and systems for providing Club members with their meals and snacks on field trips.
This includes set-up, monitoring, and clean-up.
* Manage the BGCM activity supplies.
* Attend all of BGCM’s overnight camping trips.
*Vehicle & Supplies Maintenance: * * Maintain cleanliness of all 15-passenger Club vehicles.
* Develop rules and procedures for Club members and staff regarding vehicle cleanliness and safety.
* Ensure all Club vehicles always have adequate fuel.
* Support with ensuring BGCM has all necessary program, activity, curriculum, and club culture supplies.
* Ensure adequate materials and supplies for all programs and activities.
*Miscellaneous: * * Support the Director of Programming and Site staff with the planning, logistics, and implementation of field trips.
* Supports with the oversight of club members at all times during club hours.
* Maintains a positive attitude, program, and image of BGCM.
* Supervises and maintains a vigilant watch of all members at all times.
* Follows staff code of ethics.
* Attends all staff meetings and trainings.
* Ensures that the club site and all club vehicles are clean at the end of each day.
* Treats the site, site property, and club property with respect.
* Performs other duties as assigned by the administrative team.
