*JOB SUMMARY: *This position is responsible for the daily cleaning and sanitation of Hamilton's Early Head Start facility.
The facilities are to be cleaned after the completion of teacher preparation time.
This position is approximately 8-10 hours per week.
*PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:*
*Duties to be completed daily:*
1.
Keep the building and premises clean and sanitized.
2.
Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors and rugs.
Remove food, play dough, etc.
3.
Empty trashes.
4.
Scrub and disinfect toilets, bathroom floors, walls, and mirrors.
5.
Clean all sanitary fixtures.
6.
Maintain inventory of all cleaning and paper supplies and request needed supplies in a timely manner.
7.
Check to ensure that all exit doors are locked.
*Duties to be completed as required:*
1.
Keep all floors, walls, and windows in clean and attractive condition and in good state of preservation.
2.
Report necessary repairs to supervisor.
*SPECIAL AND/OR PHYSICAL CONDITIONS*
Essential physical requirements:
* Ability to lift/carry 50 lbs;
* Sufficient mobility and strength to repeatedly stoop, walk, bend, push, reach, kneel, and have full range of body motion;
* Sufficient manual dexterity to perform job duties;
* Sufficient vision to perform job duties;
