We are seeking a reliable and experienced Janitorial Subcontractor to provide exceptional cleaning services for government facilities.
The ideal candidate will meet all federal requirements and adhere to the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation.
*Key Responsibilities*:
* Perform general cleaning and sanitizing tasks as outlined in the contract specifications.
* Ensure all areas, including offices, restrooms, and public spaces, are clean, sanitized, and well-maintained.
* Operate and maintain cleaning equipment and tools, including mops, vacuums, and buffers.
* Manage cleaning supplies inventory and submit requests for additional materials as needed.
* Comply with all safety protocols and government regulations regarding janitorial work.
* Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the prime contractor immediately.
* Attend mandatory pre-bid meetings and training sessions as required.
*Requirements*:
* Proven experience as a janitorial subcontractor, preferably with government contracts.
* Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies, and their safe handling and usage.
* Familiarity with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) requirements for small business subcontracts1.
* Ability to pass a background check and obtain necessary security clearances.
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to providing high-quality service.
* Excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently.
* Must be registered as a business and obtain an occupational license if required by the state.
*Preferred Qualifications*:
* Certifications in cleaning and maintenance.
* Experience working with environmentally friendly cleaning practices.
* Previous experience in a supervisory role within a janitorial team.
