Neckties are ridiculously expensive.
Shop for ties and even on the low end they can be $40.
00! Go to most luxury department stores and you won't find one for less than $50.
I know this because for a good period of my life I wore a suit and tie daily.
People usually don't have 10+ suits.
So, to change-up your look, your only option is a different tie (there are only so many "acceptable" colors of dress shirts).
I have about 22 ties for sale at only $3.
