Shuttling packages to remote BSB drivers – BSB uses larger “shuttle” trucks to deliver packages to drivers stationed in Plains and Thompson Falls.
A shuttle driver transports the packages from Missoula first thing in the morning and offloads the packages to remote drivers at one of BSB’s two remote sort locations.
Offloading packages generally takes 45-60 minutes and requires the shuttle driver to physically lift/move several hundred packages during the unload process.
