Summary
Members of the housekeeping tam work closely with each other and other club departments to ensure the comfort and cleanliness of member/guest accommodations and club events.
This position is a team lead for housekeepers and is responsible for ensuring the upkeep of the interiors of the rental cabins, clubhouse, fitness center, common areas, and miscellaneous Stock Farm facilities.
This position leads a team in effective and efficient completion of daily assignments and assists team in performing housekeeping and cleaning functions, either in same location or at alternate locations to ensure completions of daily schedule in a timely and efficient manner.
This is a supervisory position.
Duties are performed following prescribed routines and procedures, and with limited latitude for independent discretion.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities Must be able to work an assigned and regular 5-day schedule, between the hours of 6 a.
m.
and 5 p.
m.
Receive a daily work schedule from the Director of Lodging and serves as team lead to assign housekeeping duties to include identifying specific roles and responsibilities as required—across the housekeeping team to ensure efficiency and effectiveness in meeting the day’s needs and ensuring the best possible experience for the club’s members/guests.
Responsible for training, mentoring, and coaching all housekeeping staff in utilizing prescribed cleaning and inspections checklist and demonstration of expected cleaning techniques and Club Standards.
Ensuring all team members have resources and sufficient supplies to complete the tasks for the day.
Responsible for weekly inventory counts to include cleaning supplies in all service areas of the club facilities.
Responsible for the final inspection and walk through of the cabins and clubhouse to determine all required activities have been performed in accordance to Club Standards, policy and procedure.
Communicate discrepancies in cleaning outcomes/work performances in a professional and respectful manner.
Communicate to Director of Lodging performance concerns both team based and individuals.
Responsible for performing ad hoc and amenity response to members and guests daily (e.
g.
, crib deliveries, grocery order and delivery etc.
) performs this role with minimal delegation to housekeeping team to maintain efficiency and effectiveness.
Provide occasional administrative support to the Director of Lodging as needed or assigned to include scheduling and planning of daily tasks and assignments.
May assist members/guests in requesting maintenance services.
May hang draperies; turn mattresses; and assemble are/or move furniture as needed.
May provide direct and indirect support to club events as required/assigned.
Minimum Education & Experience Preferred: High School Diploma or Equivalent Preferred: One year experience in janitorial or housekeeping services, or similar.
Preferred: One year in hospitality and administrative support.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Basic Excel, word, power point, data entry in industry specific database.
Knowledge of principles for providing customer service and /or personal services.
Ability to be flexible and adaptable in a highly fluid dynamic environment.
Ability to work independently, multi-task, and work in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to communicate effectively orally/verbally.
Ability to work with a team and interact with various personalities in a professional and courteous manner.
Ability to read and apply information from Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) associated with cleaning solvents/solutions/materials.
Ability to maintain confidentiality of Stock Farm Club and member/guest information.
Ability to maintain professionalism and uphold the image of Stock Farm Club.
Ability to work on uneven ground/surfaces and/or lift 50lbs.
Ability to perform delivery request will minimal instruction.
Additional Requirements Must be able to work at any time between 6 am and 6 pm.
Ability to work overtime and holidays as required.
Must be insurable by the Clubs’ auto insurance provider and possess a valid driver’s license in accordance with the laws of the state of Montana.
Ability to perform same day travel on Stock Farm Property and within local geographic region.
Environmental & Physical Conditions General physical activities.
Work involves walking; standing; extensive use of arms and legs, movement of entire body; climbing; lifting; balancing; walking; stooping; pulling and pushing; kneeling, bending; and safely lifting and transporting items up to 50 pounds.
