EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION ASSISTANT DIRECTOR
The Good Shepherd Preschool , a NAEYC accredited, Christian faith based independent school, is currently hiring an individual to join our team as Assistant Director.
This person will support the Director of our Early Childhood Education program.

Thus, we are looking for individuals to support and nurture a collaborative approach to teaching and family engagement.
This position will manage and teach the afternoon enrichment program, be a support for lead teachers, perform office tasks along with a variety of other engaging opportunities based on skills and personal gifts.
Candidates should have 1-2 years of administrative experience in addition to experience in the spiritual leadership and development of children or youth in the community, school or church.
All applicants must meet state licensing requirements as Lead Teacher in early childhood education, the definition of Lead Teacher as defined by NAEYC, and have a minimum of an associate degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
A Baccalaureate Degree is preferred.

This is a 37+ hour a week position beginning at $20 per hour with potential for increase in wages and or bonuses after a trial period based on performance.
At the end of the trial period the Assistant Director just be able to perform all roles of the Director when the Director is not present to maintain employment in this role.
