0 Status) day shift Medical Receptionist - II position in the Medical Oncology clinic.
This position requires minimum of two years in current Medical Receptionist role and must be fully proficient in all aspects of the job.
Assists patients with appointments in a professional and courteous manner.
Responsible for managing provider schedules.
Responsible for primary phone coverage including taking and distributing messages.
Responsible for all registration functions for all intake points of entry.
Responsible for insurance verification, point of service cash collections and working Athena task lists on a daily basis.
Scanning medical records into patient record.
Distributes all incoming and outgoing department mail to the appropriate personnel.
Keeping waiting area organized.
Other duties/projects as assigned by Coordinator/Manager/Director.
Minimum Required: High School diploma or equivalent.
Current Medical receptionist role of at least two years required.
Effective written and verbal communications skills.
Proficient on computer system and associated software.
Excellent organization skills.
Excellent phone etiquette.
Weekend Requirements: No.
