0 Status), day shift Scheduling Specialist position in the CPG Cardiology Clinic.
The Scheduling Specialist performs receptionist, registration, scheduling, and telephone duties, which include reminder phone calls, fielding phone calls appropriately.
Working with computer systems, chart abstraction, and chart perp.
Provides prompt and courteous service to patients, physicians, staff, and families.
The Scheduling Specialist is unfailingly kind, gracious, and positive while preforming tasks necessary to maintain proper flow of patients and paperwork.
Must be able to remain professional with a positive attitude under stressful condition with multiple demands.
Minimum Required: High School Diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in a busy office setting required.
Must be able to coordinate patient scheduling/registration in a cooperative and positive attitude with outreach facilities and interdepartmentally.
Computer skills with various programs required.
Accuracy and paying attention is a must.
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred / Desired: Knowledge of cardiology and patient scheduling experience preferred.
Ability to multitask in a busy office with continuous interruptions and computer program knowledge and experience preferred.
On Call / Weekend Requirements: No.
