*Required Skills*
* Bachelor’s degree in Nursing with a valid license in Montana; Master’s degree preferred.
* Minimum 5 years of experience in Acute Care Clinical Leadership.
* At least 2 years of bedside RN experience.
* Proven ability to lead and develop a diverse team, including new graduate RNs.
* Demonstrated success in collaborative work with physicians, project management, and process improvement initiatives.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with Electronic Medical Records.
* Strong interpersonal, customer service, and communication skills.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and delegate appropriately.
*Job Description*
The Acute Care Services Director will work under the Chief Nursing Officer, playing a crucial role in the clinical and administrative management of the ICU/PCU, Medical/Surgical, and Rehab Nursing Units.
Responsibilities include:
* Overseeing staff development, education, and orientation.
* Ensuring optimal staffing levels and quality of nursing care.
* Participating in hiring, annual evaluations, and policy development.
* Managing unit budgets and resources efficiently.
* Facilitating continuous quality improvement and compliance with safety standards.
* Maintaining open communication with the Senior Leadership Team and other departments.
*Other Qualifications*
* ACLS, ONS certification, and Healthcare Provider BLS required within 3 months of hire.
* Specialty certification preferred.
* Experience with tabulating and leading process improvement projects is essential.
* The role requires a visible leadership presence on all shifts and the flexibility to meet staff needs across day and night shifts.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $120,000.
00 - $140,000.
