Acute Care Services - Director

*Overview:* Valence Consulting is working with a pioneering healthcare institution to recruit an experienced Acute Care Services Clinical Director.
This role is integral to ensuring quality patient care and operational efficiency in a dynamic and diverse clinical environment.
*Required Skills:* * Experience: Minimum 5 years as an Acute Care Clinical Leader and 2 years as a bedside RN.
* Team Management: Experience leading teams with varied skill levels, including new graduate RNs.
* Collaboration and Project Management: Proven ability in working collaboratively with physicians, managing projects, and driving process improvement initiatives.
*Job Description:* * As an Acute Care Services Clinical Director, you will work under the Chief Nursing Officer's direction and supervision.
This position involves: * Providing clinical direction and overseeing quality outcomes and financial health of reporting units.
* Ensuring effective implementation of hospital and department policies and their impact on patient care.
* Serving as a role model, expert, and resource for the clinical team and patients.
* Managing shifts to support both nightshift and dayshift staff.
* Collaborating with Leadership Council and overseeing multidisciplinary teams across ICU/PCU, Medical/Surgical, and Rehab Nursing Units.
*Other Qualifications:* Education: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing required.
Master’s degree in Nursing, Business, or Leadership/Management preferred.
Certifications: ACLS, ONS, Healthcare Provider BLS (within 3 months of hire).
Specialty certification preferred.
Skills: Strong interpersonal, customer service, multitasking, and communication abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and related software.
Job Type: Full-time Pay: $120,000.
00 - $135,000.
