Nurse Practitioner

*Nurse Practitioner position for Missoula Family Medicine* * Full-time or part-time positions considered * Monday through Thursday clinic * The nurse practitioner will work directly with Dr.
Frandsen as an extension in a collaborative fashion to support to his family medicine patients.
* Basic duties include: non-paneled team based care, inbox management, patient phone calls, prior authorizations, urgent care visits, and collaborative management of more complex patients.
* This position is not intended to recruit an extensive personal patient panel for the nurse practitioner, but a limited panel can be considered.
Duties will involve helping Dr.
Frandsen with caring for his patient panel.
* Must exhibit a willingness to learn, team-based care, adaptability, excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.
* Candidates must be comfortable seeing all ages, especially pediatric urgent care/same day visits as well as collaborating on elderly complex patients.
* Ideal candidate will have 2 years of post-graduate professional experience in primary care, but not required * Current and active license required * Resume with references required * Letters of recommendation preferred * Full time position includes standard benefits of health, dental, vision, disability, life, and malpractice.
Where You’ll Work: Missoula Family Medicine is a private practice owned by Dr.
Thomas Frandsen.
He has a large pediatric panel and enjoys caring for young families, but also loves providing care for patients of all ages.
Dr.
Frandsen was broadly trained and enjoys doing a wide variety of procedures including dermatologic, joint injections, circumcision, IUD insertion and removal, Nexplanon insertion and removal, endometrial biopsies, and colposcopy.
