Lithia Ford of Missoula is hiring an Apprentice Transmission Technician to start their career in automotive with our growing Body Shop! Working alongside our Transmission specialist, you will learn the ins and outs of the transmission; learn how to diagnose problems, remove, repair and install all Ford products.

Responsibilities:
As an Apprentice Transmission Technician, you will be responsible for completing assigned services and/or repairs in an efficient and effective manner, providing workmanship that displays pride and quality.
Complete all work according to the applicable safety requirements.
Road-test vehicles to ensure quality of repair work.
Document work performed on repair order and document test procedures/results.
Who are we looking for?
Working knowledge of body shop equipment and tools
I-Car Certifications are a plus
Basic mechanical understanding of an automobile
Time Management- ability to manage one’s own.
Attention to detail.
Operate a wide variety of cars, light trucks, and vans, with ability to drive both manual and automatic transmissions.
Valid in-state driver's license with an acceptable, insurable driving record
