Medical Assistant MA or Licensed Practical Nurse LPN

We are seeking a full time Medical Assistant MA or Licensed Practical Nurse LPN to join our team in the Family Practice department.
Day shift - no weekends The Medical Assistant MA or Licensed Practical Nurse LPN will: Welcome patients and prepare them for their health care visit Complete intake assessments including medical history and vital signs Assist during procedures Monitor, document, and administer medications and immunizations Perform phlebotomy and point of care laboratory testing Manage and prioritize patient portal (MyChart) and telephone communications Participate in and support patient education Coordinate ongoing care including referrals and prescriptions Play an essential role in fulfilling our mission Heighten the patient experience by providing extraordinary care Benefits offered (>20 hours per week): Health insurance Life insurance Paid vacation Paid holidays Sick pay 401(k) Plan Pension Plan Voluntary benefits - Dental insurance, Vision insurance, Disability insurance Employee assistance program Minimum Requirements of the Medical Assistant MA Licensed Practical Nurse LPN position: High school diploma or equivalent Medical Assistant experience, Completion of Certified/Registered Medical Assistant program within six months of hire Or Licensed Practical Nurse accreditation Basic computer knowledge and proficiency The successful Medical Assistant or Licensed Practical Nurse candidate will be subject to a background check.
