is currently looking for an experienced professional to join our team as our next amazing IT Field Support Technician! As the IT Field Support Technician, you will provide world-class first response to incidents and service requests; assist in problem identification; monitor issues from start to resolution and communicate various types of information with customers/users through appropriate channels; and provide technical troubleshooting and resolution of computers and computer applications, retail systems and applications, Citrix, and URM-specific and internally developed applications.
Perform preventative maintenance for a variety of computer related equipment at assigned locations around the Missoula, MT area.
Responsibilities: Travel and provide remote and on-site support of existing deployed systems in accordance with team standard practices.
Includes, but is not limited to: Computer and server software and hardware upgrades, troubleshooting and repair.
POS equipment upgrades, troubleshooting and repair.
Citrix troubleshooting and repair.
URM-specific and internally developed applications.
Perform preventative maintenance for a variety of computer related equipment at assigned locations.
Perform basic network support: IP addressing/subnetting.
Network cable tracing.
Troubleshooting of wireless.
Other troubleshooting as needed.
Following ITIL best practices, engage in Incident Management, Request Fulfilment, Change Management, Asset Management and Problem Management tasks assigned.
Meet Operational Level Agreement Standards.
Meet Service Level Agreement Standards.
Assist with patching, maintaining, and upgrading computers, servers, peripherals, and point-of-sale systems to remain compliant with IT, PCI, HIPAA, and industry standards and policies.
Assist with configuration management efforts such as software deployments, computer/server image deployments, and more.
Participate in the Operational Support on-call rotation.
Any other tasks or responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor.
Required Minimum Qualifications and Skills: 2-year technical degree or 2-years’ applicable experience.
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record (Required) Ability to manage time and meet deadlines well.
Possess a solid technical understanding and strong critical thinking skills.
Possess a strong customer service approach.
Frequent Travel is Required! Must use own vehicle with reimbursable mileage.
Preferred Qualifications and Skills: ITIL v3 or v4 Foundations certification (preferred) CompTIA A+ certification (preferred) however, if certification is not held, candidate MUST successfully obtain certification within one year of start date.
