The Arc Western Montana is seeking dedicated caregivers to join our team in supporting adults with severe developmental disabilities in our residential group home as a Direct Support Professional for our Day Shift.
The DSP's role is to provide excellent care through positive, confident, and reassuring interactions with clients to assist them in living as independently as possible.
Qualifications for a DSP
Compassionate, respectful, and reliable
Must be at least 17 years of age or older
Ability to pass background check requirements
Ability to effectively communicate in English, including electronically
Pre-employment drug testing (in accordance with Montana State Law)
Related caregiving experience (preferred)
Certified Nursing Assistant certificate (preferred)

Responsibilities & Duties:
Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs)
Personal hygiene cares (toileting and bathing)
Housekeeping duties
Electronic documentation
Medication administration
Meal preparation, cooking and feeding
Participates in community outings
Monitor the health and safety of clients while they sleep
Assist with programs (educational, skills, crafts)
De-escalate physical & mental behaviors using Mandt training
Shifts:
Day shifts @ 7:00am-3:00pm

Job Type:
Full-time: 30-40 scheduled hours per week
Part-time: Under 30 hours scheduled per week
Relief: on-call, flexible schedule
