Primary job functions:
Perform daily accounting tasks that will help support our financial team as well as performing tasks that assist in our construction department operations.
Data entry in multiple facets with an emphasis on accuracy.
A motivated self starter who has the ability to work with people and communicate effectively will thrive in this position.
Required Qualifications:
Accurate data entry
Ability to multi-task
Organized
Knowledge of industry is recommended but not required
Computer skills with an emphasis in Microsoft Excel
Experience related to customer service, web based computer applications, Microsoft Suite, and detail oriented
Ability to begin work at 7:00am
Desired Qualifications:
Working Knowledge of Construction HVAC/R and plumbing industry (preferred)
3+ years office experience
Advanced level skills using Microsoft Office products
Daily Duties:
Communicating with field employees to issue and complete purchase order requests
Accounts Receivable duties
Internal customer service
Accounting support
Other duties as assigned
Language Skills:
Ability to understand, speak and write in English; compile and analyze HR reports, business correspondence and other documents as requested
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret contract documents, proposals, and estimates
Ability to effectively communicate information and respond to questions from employees, management and customers
Mathematical Skills:
Ability to understand and calculate basic mathematical figures and amounts (addition, subtractions, multiplication, division, percentages, monetary amounts and volume)
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions and implement corrective actions
