Male chinchilla

I have a male chinchilla to give away to a good home.
He makes his little noises when you try to grab him but doesn’t bite and is fine once out of his area.
He won’t come with a cage as the one he has broke so I built a little makeshift area for him.
I’m not asking anything for him I just want him to go to a good home.
I’m also unsure if he’s fixed.
