gov/cannabis/worker-permits/ The Budtender is who the patient becomes most familiar with.
In addition to greeting the customer into the sales area of the dispensary, the Budtender must be able to listen attentively, assess the needs of the patient and be able to educate and/or guide the patient on the benefits and differences of our products.
A successful Budtender should be able to provide product suggestions, meet or exceed company standards, achieve sales goals and meet or exceed or customers’ expectations.
The Budtender is also required to maintain strict inventory and cash controls that prevent diversion and ensure complete compliance with State and Local requirements.
*This role requires a smooth communicator and a responsible, independent, self-motivated individual comfortable executing tasks on their own.
* * Have a basic knowledge of cannabis products, and their various medicinal benefits - but most importantly have an eagerness to continually learn more and a desire to become an expert in the field.
* Ability to engage customers and provide excellent customer service - no matter what.
* Reliability and flexibility of schedule a must.
