Our Art Supply Store/ Frame Shop/ Art Gallery is looking for a new team member to join our staff! We are looking for creative, hard-working individuals who have a strong concept of art mediums and retail work.
*What you will be doing:*
Our store has many functions, an art supply store, custom framing shop, and art gallery.
This position focuses mainly in the custom framing portion of our store, but we are always flexible if people want to expand their knowledge in other departments.
Here are some duties for the position:
· Assisting customers with their needs and questions.
This will require learning our art supplies, gallery art, and framing materials to better suit our customer’s needs
· Closing and opening functions for our store
· Inventory counting on a monthly basis
· Basic retail qualifications: cash register counts, learning our Point of Sale format, cleaning and restocking inventory.
· Assist with art events for the public such as art classes, art shows, and sponsorship events held by the company.
· Posting to social media and contributing to newsletters.
· Creating custom framing designs and working with customers to suit their budget and style.
· Custom framing projects for our customers using our archival framing methods.
Training will be provided.
· Off site installation of artwork in businesses or customer's homes.
· Using our fancy specialized equipment made just for framing to learn how to manufacture custom frames, custom cut mats, and designing advanced mat designs.

We hope to find the perfect fit for this position, we are flexible in our qualifications, but suggest the following for you to strive at the position:
· Knowledge of custom framing (not required)
· 2 years retail experience (strongly recommended)
· Strong attention to details required.

· Ability to lift 50 lbs.
· Passion for and understanding of the Missoula Community as well as the Frame of Mind mission and our place in our community.
· Strong customer service and people skills
· Strong organization skills
· Flexibility in schedule
· Experience with social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, Tik Tok, and Snap Chat
· Experience with Google Business, Square, Excel, Word, and Adobe Suite a plus
· Public outreach a plus
