The Resort at Paws Up is seeking to add a Retail Manager to our team.
The Retail Manager is to manage daily operations and support the long term goals for the department.
The Primary Functions are: Passionate about creating a warm, welcoming, and professional demeanor when engaging with guests and team members.
Engages with guests and staff in a friendly and meaningful way.
Develops and leads seasonal team members by investing in them and helping them learn new skills.
Provide the highest level of customer service to guests/customers and team members.
Create and maintain an organized and visually appealing environment to enhance the guest/customer experience.
Ability to multi-task and prioritize day-to-day business needs.
Partners with Retail and Buying Manager to communicate with merchants and vendors, as needed.
Keeps the Retail and Buying Manager fully informed of all problems or unusual matters of significance coming to his/her attention so that prompt and corrective action can be taken when appropriate.
Educates self, staff, and guests on merchandise and events on property.
Fulfill, package, and ship online and in store orders with accuracy and in a timely manner.
Manages inventory and resolves any issues regarding damages or returns or Purchase Order discrepancies.
Updates purchase orders in inventory management system.
Assist Retail and Buying Manager with budgets and business plans.
Partners to assist in providing thoughtful amenities and for groups and special events.
Able to work independently.
Owns tasks given by Retail and Buying Manager.
Ability to work flexible hours and holidays.
Looking for Team Members with: High 10 years’ experience in product-based retail operations.
3 years experience in the role of Assistant Manager or Manager.
Knowledge of world class hospitality and guest service management.
Strong verbal/written communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
Must be proficient in all Microsoft Programs (Outlook, Excel, Teams).
Experience with Shopify preferred.
Valid State Driver’s License.
