Job Summary:
The Registered Nurse (RN) functions collaboratively as part of a 23-Hour 59-minute Crisis Receiving Center (CRC).
The CRC team in comprised of a multidisciplinary behavioral health team.
This team addresses urgent behavioral health needs including but not limited to significant emotional dysregulation, disordered thought processes, substance use intoxication resulting in behavioral crisis and environmentally de-stabilizing events that require multi-disciplinary crisis intervention.
As the RN in the CRC, you will be responsible for utilizing triage skills, providing ongoing assessment, crisis intervention and clinical determination for level of care to individuals experiencing a behavioral health crisis.
The RN will provide compassionate, person-centered, trauma-informed care to individuals with the goal of stabilization at the least restrictive level of care and an emphasis on post crisis growth.
An ideal candidate to fill this RN position will work with community partners, stakeholders, and the multidisciplinary team within the Crisis Receiving Center to coordinate client care and safety.
The successful candidate will have experience in working with individuals with psychiatric diagnoses or symptoms, as well as knowledge in assessing and triaging, medication administration including injections, lab collection, supply inventory and crisis management skills.

Qualifications:
Registered Nurse license in the state of Montana
2 years Training or experience in community based psychiatric treatment of individuals diagnosed with severe and persistent mental illness
Current and comprehensive knowledge of psychotropic medications and best nursing practices, an understanding of crisis intervention and the use of services as alternatives to in-hospital care
Ability to pass background check and driver’s license check upon offer of employment.
Current CPR and de-escalation training (CPI)
Provide proof of auto liability insurance coverage per Western’s policies.
Montana Driver’s License with good driving record
